Welcome! Thank you for visiting our website. The Village of Orwell is located in Ashtabula County, in northeast Ohio, within the region known as the Grand Valley. Incorporated on March 27, 1921, Orwell is the economic hub and Southwest Gateway to Ashtabula County.
Water/Sewer Billing Statements for the period of December 8, 2022 through March 7, 2023 have been mailed and payment is due on/before April 10, 2023. Late fees will be charged after that date and shut-offs will take place on April 20, 2023.
Meetings:
Unless posted otherwise, all meetings are held at the Village Administration Building, 179 West Main Street, Orwell.

Work sessions are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 4:30 p.m.

Regular council meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 4:30 p.m.

Planning and Zoning Commission Meetings will be held at 1:00 p.m. the last Wednesday of every other month, January 25, 2023; March 29, 2023; May 31, 2023; July 26, 2023, September 27, 2023; and November 29, 2023.

Zoning Board of Appeals meetings are held on an as-needed basis.

Parks and Recreation Meetings will be held at the Orwell Library at 9:00 a.m., the first Friday of every month; January 6, 2023; February 3, 2023, March 3, 2023; April 7, 2023; May 5, 2023; June 2, 2023; July 7, 2023; August 4, 2023; September 1, 2023; October 6, 2023; November 3, 2023; and December 1, 2023.
