Village of Orwell Manager Dr. Sean Ratican recently attended the Ashtabula County Commissioners’ Coffee with Commissioners event, hosted at Country Neighbors in Orwell. The event provided an opportunity for local officials, community members, and county leadership to engage in meaningful conversations about the future of Ashtabula County and the communities they serve.

Following the event, Village Manager Dr. Ratican welcomed all three Ashtabula County Commissioners—Casey Kozlowski, J.P. Ducro, and Kathryn Whittington—for a tour of the Village’s new Village Hall and Fire Station, which is currently under construction.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the Village’s ongoing investments in public infrastructure, discuss future development initiatives, and highlight projects aimed at strengthening public services, supporting economic growth, and improving the quality of life for residents throughout Orwell and southern Ashtabula County.

The Village of Orwell extends its sincere appreciation to Commissioners Kozlowski, Ducro, and Whittington for their continued engagement, collaboration, and willingness to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing our community.

Through strong partnerships between local and county government, the Village of Orwell remains committed to building a stronger, more connected, and prosperous future for our residents and the greater southern Ashtabula County region.
